1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through the online shop shop.sonjatravelartist.com. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather a non-binding invitation to place an order. By clicking the "Complete order" button, you submit a binding order. The purchase contract is concluded when you receive an order confirmation by email after submitting your order.
3. Right of Withdrawal
As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal.
Withdrawal Instructions
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform the shop owner (Email: sonjatravelartist[at!]gmail.com) by means of a clear statement (e.g. by email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. Please include the following information:

- Your order number
- Your full name
- Product title
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered), will be refunded to you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which notification of your withdrawal from this contract is received. The same means of payment used for the original transaction will be used for this refund, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees for this refund.
You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
The goods must be returned undamaged and in their original packaging. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
4. Defects and Damages
Please inspect your order upon receipt.
For shipping damages (such as torn, bent or crushed products) or obvious defects, please get in touch within 14 days at sonjatravelartist[at!]gmail.com with the following information:

Please include:
- Your order number
- Your full name
- Product title
- 2-3 clear photos of the issue
Please note: Minor colour variations due to different screen settings are normal and do not constitute a defect.
Once your claim has been approved, a free replacement will be sent. If multiple replacement attempts fail, a refund will be provided.
5. Prices and Payment Terms
All prices are final prices. In accordance with § 19 UStG (German small business regulation), no value-added tax is charged. Shipping costs are shown separately and must be paid by the buyer in addition to the purchase price.
The following payment methods are available:

- Other payment methods displayed at checkout
Payment is due immediately upon placing the order.
6. Delivery Terms
Delivery terms, including shipping destinations, delivery times and shipping costs, are set out in the separate Shipping Policy: shop.sonjatravelartist.com/policies/shipping-policy
Important: Travel journals and art prints are shipped and charged separately.
7. Retention of Title
The delivered goods remain the property of the shop until full payment has been made.
8. Warranty
Statutory warranty rights apply. The warranty period is two years from receipt of the goods. In the event of defects, you may initially demand supplementary performance (rectification or replacement delivery). If supplementary performance fails, you may, at your option, reduce the purchase price or withdraw from the contract.
Note on colour variations: Due to different screen settings, the colours of the art prints may differ slightly from the display in the online shop. This does not constitute a defect.
9. Liability
Unlimited liability applies in cases of intent or gross negligence, intentional or negligent injury to life, body or health, and in accordance with the provisions of the Product Liability Act.
In the event of negligent breach of a material contractual obligation, liability is limited to the contract-typical, foreseeable damage. Material contractual obligations are those whose fulfillment is necessary to achieve the purpose of the contract.
Otherwise, liability is excluded.
10. Copyright and Usage Rights
All art prints and designs offered in the online shop are protected by copyright. By purchasing, you acquire only a simple right of use for private, non-commercial purposes. Reproduction, distribution or public display of the works is prohibited without explicit written consent.
11. Dispute Resolution
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
The shop is neither willing nor obligated to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
12. Data Protection
The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at shop.sonjatravelartist.com/policies/privacy-policy.
13. Final Provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law only applies insofar as the protection granted is not withdrawn by mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which the consumer has their habitual residence.
Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
